You will partner with Sales and clients to translate portfolio data into insights and recommendations that drive growth while meeting legal, compliance, and risk requirements. You will collaborate across Finance, Technology, Implementation, Marketing, Customer Support, and external partners to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Own day-to-day management of assigned credit card products, responding to operational, sales, vendor, and client inquiries.
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver product enhancements and maintenance, including regulatory and compliance changes.
  • Partner with Technology and Implementation to plan, scope, and launch initiatives on time and within quality expectations.
  • Maintain product documentation, feature definitions, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market inputs.
  • Manage product financials by monitoring revenue, costs, margins, and key performance indicators (KPIs); build forecasts, pricing analyses, and business cases.
  • Analyze client and portfolio data to produce clear insights and recommendations; support Sales in client meetings and portfolio optimization discussions.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors (processors, networks, fraud, rewards, servicing, technology) on roadmaps, issues, and service-level performance in partnership with Sourcing, Legal, and Risk.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.
  • Analyze client and portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate complex client data into clear insights, recommendations, and actionable strategies.
  • Partner with Sales to consult with clients on portfolio optimization, growth opportunities, and performance improvement.
  • Participate in customer meetings and presentations to support data‑driven decision‑making and long‑term portfolio growth.
  • Serve as a key product contact for third‑party vendors supporting credit card products (e.g., processors, networks, fraud, rewards, servicing, or technology providers).
  • Coordinate with vendors on product enhancements, issue resolution, roadmap alignment, and operational support.
  • Support vendor performance reviews, contract considerations, and service‑level discussions in partnership with sourcing, legal, and risk teams.
  • Ensure vendor solutions align with product strategy, client needs, and regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Develop executive‑level, sales, vendor, and client‑facing presentations that clearly communicate product value, insights, and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Represent the product confidently in internal governance forums and external client or vendor discussions.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management for credit card or payments products for issuer portfolios, delivering enhancements from concept through launch.
  • 8+ years of experience managing product financials, including forecasting, pricing, and profit and loss (P&L) performance for consumer credit card offerings.
  • 8+ years of experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Technology, Implementation, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and external vendors in a regulated environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency analyzing portfolio data and key performance indicators (KPIs) and translating insights into recommendations using SQL and a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
  • Skills: Ability to create clear, concise client and executive presentations and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:
