This role offers an opportunity to leverage your skills to make a significant impact on our product offerings and the overall user experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test cases spanning web UI, APIs, and backend services under the guidance of senior staff.

  • Monitor and execute automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline. Help identify environment readiness issues and assist in managing test data.
  • Continuously improve testing accuracy and reliability. Identify and report flaky or non-deterministic tests. Support senior engineers in improving test runtime and reliability.
  • Generate and publish test outcomes as standardized test reports (e.g., JUnit-style results, trend views) that provide actionable feedback to the product development team.
  • Investigate and triage initial test failures; provide detailed reports to help distinguish between product bugs and environment issues.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand requirements and ensure test cases align with user stories.
  • Contribute to engineering excellence through the published documentation of test plans, scripts and results.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and code reviews to learn and adopt industry best practices for quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn new testing technologies and contribute to a culture of quality through proactive problem-solving.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 2+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining automated tests for web applications and distributed systems.
  • Experience with end-to-end and API test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and test design patterns.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI) using Git-based workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across services, logs, and environments.
  • Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and providing accurate testing estimates.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with testing cloud-native and microservices architectures (Docker/Kubernetes) and comfort working in a Linux-based environment.
  • Observability: Experience utilizing observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging) to improve test diagnostics and triage speed.
  • Integration Strategies: Exposure to contract testing, service virtualization, or integration test strategies for distributed systems.
  • Reporting: Experience configuring reporting pipelines and quality dashboards (e.g., Allure, JUnit XML) that surface actionable insights for the team.
  • Specialized Testing: Participation in performance, load, or resiliency testing to ensure system stability under stress.
  • Programming Depth: Practical experience with at least one back-end programming language (e.g., Java or Python).

How you’ll work:
