What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Furniture Coordinator within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will work seamlessly on a team and as an individual, assisting policy holders with the delivery and subsequent furniture needs throughout the duration of the file. You will manage files to the client’s full satisfaction from the initial quote through the pickup of all furniture. You will report directly to the Furniture Manager and collaborate regularly with furniture vendors.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Advocating with the vendor on behalf of the ALE customer to provide the best initial quote and fee for each individual file while working with the vendor, A/NAM and RS to ensure the family is moved into their home with all the rental furniture they need

Maintaining and building relationships with furniture vendors in conjunction with the Furniture Manager leading to the development of new and improved business procedures

Ensuring the proper coordination and communication with other ALE team members who provide the policyholder with services

Ordering all furniture, appliances, and house wares once order is received from RS

Following up on all orders to confirm they are scheduled with the vendor, notify RS and A/NAM of delivery date

Reviewing leases for correct billing prices, delivery fees, and items to be delivered resulting in the entry of FINAL pricing into ACT the day before delivery

Handling all incoming requests for exchanges, add-ons, partial pickups and buy out requests from the day of delivery in a timely manner

Advising the NAM of changes in pricing when required or when additions or subtractions are made to lease. Additional items need to be approved at all times

Verifying vendor fees

Enter revised pricing in the database to keep total pricing up to date and accurate at all times

Updating the Book Activity in ACT as needed

Resolving any problems with the vendor and insured

Assisting with answering all incoming phone calls for the Furniture Department

Maintaining ACT notes to include all furniture issues

Notifying Furniture Manager and NAM of all issues that come up with files, so we are aware

Maintaining ACT Placement Database

Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

2+ years of job-related experience preferred

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook

ACT program experience a plus

Excellent verbal & written communication skills, be very organized, have strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi task, and be a team player

Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position

Exhibits strong business acumen and sound judgement

Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships among team members in the course of work

  • Ability to assist coworkers with tasks
