Summary

The IT Application Support Specialist will be responsible for providing first and second level support for customer and employee facing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot application support requests directly with employees and indirectly for external customers
• Coordinate with SME's and/or Application owners (Tier 3) to escalate issues if they cannot be resolved in Tiers 1 or 2
• Troubleshoot production incidents and help with remediation
• Planned and Unplanned maintenance for Applications, Infrastructure, Vendors, and Security
• Non-production Environment support
• Business-requested support for customer configurations, application settings, and data changes
• Minor enhancements and production defects

Qualifications:

• The ability to prioritize tasks and respond with a sense of urgency
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in written form to all levels of staff
• Work in an effective, consistent manner, maintaining quality assurance and compliance with established directives, policy, and best practices
• Strong analytic skills and ability to apply critical thinking and a methodical approach to problem identification and resolution
• Experience supporting and managing business applications
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• High attention to detail, process oriented, and ability to understand business and technology impact
• Strong sense of ownership and thoroughness, with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly
