What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Tech Specialist within our NA Fuel division. This position falls under our Comdata line of business and is located in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with all technical aspects of customer merchant and third-party interfaces to ensure satisfaction and effective use of products and services. This may include internal and external service and sales support. Associates may be assigned to support a specific type of technology to a pool of customers or to a specific customer base for support and/or data transfer, connectivity, and transaction processing. This position may respond to service tickets, inbound emails, and phone calls and work directly with clients to provide day-to-day account support, problem resolution, research, and analysis. Answering inbound calls. You will report directly to the Service Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with other team(s)/department(s).

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing complex technical support and assistance to internal and external customers via phone, email, and any other remote methods
- Providing exceptional care and attention to White Glove customers
- Addressing and responding to customer inquiries on Merchant products and services, operational functions, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Providing customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance, and customer satisfaction, including software updates
- Documenting client/customer interaction, including details of inquiries, complaints, comments and actions taken
- Creating project plans and managing special projects in collaboration with other Merchant teams.
- Customer reporting (including documentation)
- New product launches and automation initiatives
- Supporting and handling questions and escalations from Technical Representatives, resolving complex issues, approve orders, resolve and close help desk tickets, monitor connectivity and other real-time customer needs and offering hours on-call support
- Escalating issues to other resources inside and outside of the company
- Supporting new product and equipment onboarding and documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required
- 2+ years’ experience in the field or a related area in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred.
- Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods
- Experience in a fast-paced customer relations and/or technical support role
- Experience with SQL database
- Experience with Networking
- Strong customer service and office administrative skills
- Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple tasks
- Comfort and confidence in interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
- Knowledge of computer software programs and hardware equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
- Point of Sale and Petroleum industry/field experience a plus
