USA Chief Marketing Officer
The USA Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a key member of the leadership team and will help drive our next phase of growth. The CMO will develop and execute all aspects of Corpay’s USA marketing strategy across multiple lines of business (LOBs), including Vehicle Payments, Payables, and Workforce Lodging, and will lead important corporate strategic marketing initiatives. The role is based at Corpay’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities
The CMO will have two main areas of responsibility. First, the CMO will lead all marketing activities for our Vehicle Payments, Payables, and Workforce Lodging lines of business based in the US, and second, the CMO will lead corporate strategic marketing initiatives and business development opportunities.
For the US lines of business, the CMO will lead 4 functional areas:
- Product Marketing
- Market research … conduct research to understand customer needs (voice of the customer), market trends, and competitive product offerings. Incorporate findings into marketing strategy
- Product positioning … define how the USA products should be best positioned

- Pricing … work with the LOB teams to determine the appropriate pricing for each of the core products (i.e., cost-plus, value-based) to maximize revenue and profitability
- Programs/Campaigns … develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness and generate qualified leads
- Digital Marketing
- Digital Strategy … develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across paid media channels, including SEO, SEM, social media and email marketing.
- Digital Selling … oversee USA Digital Sales Channel and achieve annual digital sales production targets.

- Collect, monitor, and analyze KPIs to improve marketing campaigns.

In addition, the USA CMO will lead corporate-wide strategic marketing projects for new, big partnerships. The main responsibilities in this aspect of the role will be to:
- Identify and evaluate new revenue ideas that can be unlocked via corporate partnerships
- Size the revenue and profit opportunity (ie, what’s the size of the prize)
- Define “who does what” in the partnership and tailor the partnership economics accordingly
- Negotiate and execute commercial contracts covering the partnership
- Develop the marketing plan to realize the partnership opportunities
- Ensure the partnerships achieve the projected results
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an accomplished marketing leader who has progressively held more senior roles within the marketing discipline. A creative, innovative go-to-market strategist with great organizational and prioritization skills will thrive in this important role.
Ideal Experience
Background
- MBA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience post-MBA in the marketing practice of a large, strategy consulting firm and a corporate marketing setting (e.g., B2B services company)
- Experience in B2B services required
