Job Description

Overview

Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated Associate to join the Transactions Product Strategy team at the New York Stock Exchange (an Intercontinental Exchange company). In this role, you will support the operational and strategic functions of our Options business—managing data workflows, producing client-facing reporting, and contributing to pricing and competitive analysis initiatives. This is an opportunity to develop a strong foundation in U.S. options market structure while working across business, finance, legal, and technology teams in a fast-paced exchange environment. The ideal candidate excels at synthesizing data from multiple sources, translating operational complexity into clear reporting and insights, and thriving in a cross-functional environment to support a dynamic options exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Support core NYSE Options operational processes through data management and analysis.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc data requests and produce client-facing reports and dashboards, including routine performance analyses.
  • Assist with billing and post-trade processes in coordination with Finance, including fee-related processing.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of internal Tableau reporting; proactively develop new dashboards to support operational monitoring and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Business stakeholders on fee schedule documentation in connection with repricing initiatives.
  • Update and maintain business materials leveraged by the Relationship Management team.
  • Monitor competitive pricing and product activity across the U.S. options landscape and deliver internal commentary and insights.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related).
  • 0–2+ years of professional experience; internship experience in financial services or exchange operations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills—able to translate data and operational findings into concise reporting for internal and external audiences.
  • Deep analytical mindset, problem solving skills and can-do attitude.
  • Familiarity with U.S. options markets or exchange operations is a plus but not required.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

  • Programming skills (SQL, Python).
  • Proficiency in data processing, analysis, and visualization tools, with hands-on experience across Business Intelligence (i.e. Tableau) and Cloud Data Warehouse (i.e. Snowflake) applications.
  • Familiarity with productivity and project management tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Proactive, self-starter mentality with a genuine eagerness to develop expertise in U.S. options market structure and exchange operations.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $70,000 – $86,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
