Job Description

Invesco’s EQV International Equity team manages 9 products and over $12bn in client assets from Austin, Texas. We are bottom-up, fundamental equity investors with a passion for long-term value creation. The EQV philosophy is founded on three principles:

Job Summary:

Invesco’s EQV International Equity team is seeking a research analyst or associate to join the Asia/Latin America team based in Austin, Texas. This person will work with Portfolio Managers and Analysts on the team to analyze companies across all sectors in Asia and Latin America. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and a proven interest in financial markets. While interesting candidates come with a variety of backgrounds and experience, it is imperative that the candidate is a team player who will contribute to our collegial and collaborative organization.

Your role:

  • Contribute to a collegial atmosphere with the highest level integrity and business ethics.

  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Analysts to conduct bottom-up fundamental research

  • Develop and maintain relationships with management teams of successful and fascinating businesses

  • Generate investment insights and recommendations based upon independent research

  • Opportunity to travel for research trips and industry conferences

The experience you bring:

  • Demonstrated interest in investing, financial markets and how the world works

  • 2-5 years of work experience (actual job level will depend upon experience)

  • Basic understanding of financial statements and financial modeling

  • Outstanding reasoning skills and an ability to distil important information

  • Ability to work independently and execute on projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Graduate Degree or CFA designation helpful

  • Bilingual is a plus
