Job Description

Your role:

Invesco is looking for an Analyst to join our Compensation Team. Work closely with Compensation Team managers and colleagues to support the design, review and execution of compensation plans. Support HR Business Partners as the Compensation subject matter expert for assigned business areas. This is an individual contributor role.

You will be responsible for:

  • Serve as first point of contact for HR Business Partner questions on compensation, surveys, internal job codes, market-pricing, and new hires and promotions.
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations for resolution of competitive assessments and other compensation-related issues as they arise.
  • Support the annual compensation review cycle by working on compensation planning and education, data integrity, communications and systems support.
  • Participate in the compensation survey submission and job matching process.
  • Lead or take a key role in global compensation projects as assigned.
  • Efficiently manage large amounts of data to lay the groundwork for analysis.
  • Design flexible scenarios and models that answer business questions.
  • Create data visualizations that make complex data easier to understand.
  • Create ad hoc models to answer people-related business questions on compensation, incentive pay composition, workforce composition, investment team stability, etc.

The experience you bring:

  • Experience to succeed in this role would typically be 2-4 years in an Analyst role in a related field (Compensation, HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, Finance, etc.).
  • Education to succeed in this role would typically be a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related or technical field (human resources, statistics, finance, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced level Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups and slicers, macros, etc.).
  • Experience with PowerBI, Access, or Alteryx is a plus.
  • Experience in Financial Services or consulting is a plus.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mind-set and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong project planning and execution skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Able to successfully work on a matrixed, global HR team.
  • Capable of balancing a varied workload, dealing with conflicting priorities and demonstrating flexibility where required.
