Job Description

Job Purpose: The ETF Intern purpose is to support the growth of Invesco’s ETFs amongst institutional investors through various responsibilities and skills across the institutional ETF team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with research and analysis used in the creation of or update of product and/or market outlook materials & presentations
• Develop quantitative portfolio analysis tools that augment the ETF sales process
• Assist with analysis required to respond to inbound inquiries from institutional clients globally (strictly behind the scenes working with an institutional ETF specialist)
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Work Experience/Knowledge:

• Interest in and general knowledge of financial markets
• Analytical thinking and well-structured working style

Skills/Other Attributes Required:

• Strong background in mathematics, finance, engineering, or physics
• Strong technical programming skills (Python or R, SQL, etc)
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi)
• Interest in and general knowledge of financial markets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Highly self-motivated and goal-driven

Formal Education:

• Must be a currently enrolled rising junior or senior undergraduate student
• A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above is preferred
