Job Description

Job Purpose (Job Summary): The ETF Intern supports the growth of Invesco's ETF business through various responsibilities in the ETF Product Strategy & Research teams. The ETF intern will gain exposure to various business units and apply their analytical skills to help advance strategic priorities for ETFs and other investment products and programs.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide support with research and analysis used in the creation or update of product and/or market outlook materials & presentations.
  • Support product development efforts by conducting competitive landscape analysis within the ETF industry.
  • Assist with analysis required to respond to inbound inquiries from Sales (strictly internal support working with a Product Strategist).
  • Run internal reports and synthesize trends into an executive summary.
  • Coordinate date analysis with index providers in support of product ideation.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Additional support / back-up for US ETF product launches and changes.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Interest in and general knowledge of financial markets.
  • Analytical thinking and well-structured working style.

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Some technical programming skills also beneficial (R, python, VBA)
  • Interest in and general knowledge of financial markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and goal-driven.

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Must be a currently enrolled rising junior or senior undergraduate student.
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above is preferred.
