Job Description

We are seeking a Securities Lending trader to join our Boston-based Global Securities Lending Trading Team. The Securities Lending trader is a key role in the Securities Lending group and within the larger Global Capital Markets division. The candidate will be tasked with maximizing revenue generation across the platform within prescribed program parameters. Primary responsibilities will be to trade equity securities for the Invesco funds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and execute Equity loans for the Invesco Fund complexes
• Maximize revenue generation across the platform within prescribed program parameters
• Collaborate with the Global Liquidity Team to ensure lending activity matches with cash reinvestment activities
• Develop and maintain key prime broker relationships to facilitate affiliated lending activity
• Work closely with global trading colleagues to identify new opportunities across our Investment Team
• Assist in fair valuing our counterparty relationships by adding Securities Lending inputs

Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 2 years relevant professional experience preferred; additional experience in financial markets desirable
• Strong interest in financial markets, specifically equities
• Knowledge of the securities lending trading or operations is preferred
• Expertise in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products
• Knowledge of programming languages/coding desirable (Python preferred)
• Strong technical skillset
• Resourceful and self-motivated
• Desire to work in a team environment, used to a collaborative work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a stressful environment
