Job Description

The Department:

Invesco serves a breadth of clients including financial advisors, pension funds, and insurers. Our customers have complex and unique investment needs, which we are uniquely positioned to deliver through 13 investment centres with expertise in equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Marketing seeks to connect client needs with our capabilities by creating effective, accountable, multi-channel communications which educate, inspire and support our clients. The Growth & Engagement Marketing team enables this by using the latest martech and best practices to enhance and improve our client’s digital experience and buying journey across all our client touchpoints, using multi-market campaigns and innovative digital channel activation to achieve commercial results.

Using a performance-oriented approach, curated channel tactics, an omnichannel mindset, and advanced marketing technologies, the Digital Activation QQQs, Associate Director should design and manage the implementation of our paid channel marketing strategies, ensuring Invesco’s visibility in the digital space supports the QQQs brand and product offering in a client-centric way.

Your Role

The purpose of the Digital Activation QQQs, Associate Director is to lead a team of social media, search, email, and automation experts to evolve and deliver on our wider paid media strategy aimed at amplifying the Invesco QQQ brand. This role will work closely with all members of the Invesco QQQ Marketing Team to ensure channel tactics support our business goals of awareness, consideration, and engagement across the digital journey with an emphasis on commercial impact and ultimately driving revenue for Invesco QQQ.


You will be responsible for:

  • Evolve our channel marketing strategy with the aim to effectively deliver measurable engagement and impact with key audiences in all our paid media channels across the funnel, in close collaboration with the wider QQQs marketing team.
  • Lead a team of channel specialists day-to-day to roll out the paid media channel strategy through marketing activities, as well as supporting their development within the business and their individual goals and ambitions.
  • Work closely with our global agency partner, ensuring their consultation, recommendations and activation of channel activities bring an additional layer of competitive insights and innovative tactics to complement our internal strategies.
  • Foster a strong team culture of collaboration within the channel marketing team and in partnership with the wider QQQs marketing team to ensure our channel strategies are aligned to broader paid marketing objectives.
  • Drive a data and analytics focused approach within the team to deliver regular and in-depth channel reporting, analysis, and insights, along with a robust test and learn program, to ensure channels are delivering on broader marketing objectives.
  • Ensure the team manages spend forecasting, budgeting, and payments for all channel activities effectively, while also regularly optimizing spend against plans and performance.


The experience you bring:

  • 6-8 years of experience driving strategic results in multichannel campaigns and activities across a variety of paid media platforms and regions, with an emphasis on personalized and automated client experiences across all channels and stages of the journey
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications, or equivalent field experience
  • Broad understanding of multi-channel marketing campaign best practices and a mindset for innovation & problem-solving
  • Strong knowledge of reporting, targeting and tracking capabilities across paid media in an aim to reach the right audience, at the right time with the right message, while leveraging actionable insights to evolve best practices
  • Strong knowledge of digital media platforms and tools across all channels
  • Must thrive in a dynamic environment and possess an enthusiastic willingness to roll up their sleeves to positively influence the client experience and continue to drive engagement with Invesco QQQ ETF
  • Strong people management experience and the ability to work in nimble, test and learn, iterative environment
  • Curious with a passion to stay up to date on digital marketing strategies, best practices, and the competitive landscape
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues or scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts and communicate to a variety of stakeholders

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $140k to $155k annually.
