Job Description
Your role:
The Quantitative Analyst Intern role will be responsible for daily research, data analysis and programming activities to help support and streamline daily functions and analysis to support the unique needs of a high volume portfolio management environment across multiple asset classes. The Analyst will work closely with the ETF Portfolio Management team and utilize a number of data sources and universes to aid in portfolio construction, optimization, implementation and communication of critical portfolio information. The candidate will also establish and maintain relationships across multiple portfolio managers to aid in the research process to enhance investment decisions and portfolio performance. The candidate must be able to learn the entire ETF & Indexed Strategies Portfolio Management eco-system and manage multiple projects with larger vision in how data sets and enhanced processes can fit into the larger portfolio management system.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Work closely with Portfolio Management, Analysts, Operations and Technology to provide data analytics, portfolio management technology solutions and custom analysis, investment research and portfolio level reporting.
Develop, test, and deploy quantitative solutions for use with both internal and external portfolio management systems.
Design and streamline process for automation of daily reporting and optimizations.
Understanding the underlying investment strategies and executing on orders daily.
Analyze corporate actions and coordinate portfolio manager decisions with all applicable parties.
Three or more years of asset management industry experience is helpful.
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field is preferred
Candidate should also have a proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, R, C++, Java.
Experience you bring:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree graduating between December 2025 and Summer 2026 with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals internally
Excellent Python – experience with Pandas/Polars
Strong experience with databases
Must be able to multi-task different initiatives at once, take direction well, and strong follow through skills needed.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
