Job Description

Your Team

The Invesco Corporate Actions team is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all corporate action event types in all internal systems as well as overseeing activities of third parties. We are a resource of knowledge for the investment teams as well as other internal and external parties that are impacted by corporate actions.

Your Role
The Junior Analyst will work within the Corporate Actions Support team as part of the Global Trade and Custody Management (GTCM) Service Delivery team, providing essential support to internal IVZ customers, colleagues, external clients, and business partners. The team collects, records, analyzes, and processes mandatory and voluntary corporate action events across various trading products and funds. This individual will develop functional knowledge within the team, assisting with the processing, oversight, and risk mitigation on tasks and deliverables to ensure the team's key requirements are met.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Providing Investment personnel voluntary corporate actions responses to specific custodians or other interested parties in a timely and accurate manner

  • Collect, compile, analyze and verify corporate action information from multiple information and data sources

  • Record corporate actions in applicable systems, including appropriate self-review of information recorded

  • Maintain documentation and support for all corporate action information

  • Answer queries from internal clients, external auditors, Investment personnel and other Invesco business units

  • Complete special projects as required

  • Contribute to the improvement of the daily group process.


The Experience You Bring:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of local/global regulatory obligations as appropriate in the context of impacting business requirements/service provision.

  • Market Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Private Placements, and other trading assets as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree with experience with investments and finance.
