Job Description

The Team

As a Client Service Associate within the Americas Client Service (ACS) team, you will play a key role in supporting Invesco’s Private Market offerings by As a Client Service Associate within the Americas Client Service (ACS) team, you will play a key role in supporting Invesco’s Private Market offerings by delivering exceptional service throughout the full client lifecycle. You will serve as the primary point of contact for financial advisors, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners, ensuring a seamless onboarding and servicing experience.

Your Role

To be successful, you will need to develop an understanding of Invesco’s investment and operational capabilities, service offerings, culture and vision in order to efficiently diagnose issues and solve problems that inevitably arise in the course of the contract process. Due to the complex needs of our clients, you will need to build collaborative relationships across our sales, product, operations, finance, legal, compliance and other internal teams critical to the end-to-end client life cycle.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Field inquiries from Financial Advisors and Internal Sales Teams on Invesco’s Private Market offerings.
  • Assist Financial Advisors with problem resolution of account opening, maintenance and other inquiries related to client onboarding and client maintenance (deadlines, platform questions, subscriptions, redemptions, distributions)
  • Coordinating with the transfer agent to review and resolve Not in Good Order (NIGO) items.
  • Perform oversight functions such as trade and wire reconciliation as well as trade date process management of subscriptions and redemptions
  • Respond to inquires and resolve trade related issues for broker dealers, RIAs, FinTech platforms and custodians
  • Liaise with other Invesco business units and transfer agents relating to client inquiries, problem resolution and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the operational aspects of onboarding Invesco’s Funds to various distribution & FinTech platforms.
  • Identify and document operational procedures for ongoing fund onboarding & maintenance on various platforms.
  • Develop strong understanding of distribution partners’ operational platforms and processes and become resident expert for external and internal Private Market inquiries.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects / research to support Invesco’s business initiatives
  • Communicate significant client issues internally and document/escalate as appropriate
  • Proactively make recommendations for the improvement of the team in terms of training, infrastructure, and efficiency needs; participate in the implementation of any recommendations.

The Experience You Bring:

  • 2+ years of financial industry experience
  • Knowledge of alternative investment funds, FinTech platforms, Broker-Dealer, Custodian, Wirehouse and RIA sales channels
  • Knowledge of private market product structures (506(c), Internal Funds, BDC, Non-Traded REIT)
  • Strong client service & operational skills/knowledge, including responsiveness, issue resolution, root cause analysis and process improvement, with a passion for delivering service excellence
  • Proficiency in navigating complex client relationships and ensuring a thorough understanding of client expectations
  • A clear understanding of, and the ability to effectively reinforce, accountability and ownership with internal stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

License/Registration/Certification:

  • Series 7 License (preferred)

The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $139,000 annually.
