We do high-volume, deadline driven work. We are responsible for all phases of the proposal process in addition to loading and populating product information in consultant and third-party databases which are used to screen Invesco products. We engage with various subject matter experts, such as Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, and Operations, to source and update information, while tailoring responses to meet diverse client needs.
We provide current and prospective clients with the firm, entity, strategy, product, and vehicle level information through a wide range of deliverable types (i.e., RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, PQQs, QCQs, Database Profiles, Digital Platform Requests, and Industry Surveys).
About the Role:
The Request for Proposal (RFP) Analyst will be responsible for working alongside members of the Global RFP team to respond to all phases of the sales proposal process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
This progressive role is responsible for helping with researching, writing, editing, reviewing and producing proposals and responding to due diligence questionnaires related to Invesco’s global suite of products. The Analyst must be highly motivated and intellectually curious, as they will need to run lower complexity jobs independently, and have the desire to take on more responsibility as they gain experience and expertise with the RFP process and Invesco’s products.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely client-facing submissions in order to gain and maintain assets
Initially focus on lower complexity work before working with team members
Work closely with RFP Manager, stakeholders and subject matter experts to assemble response data and create new/custom answers
When necessary, attend and coordinate qualification calls for new business requests
Adhere to all processes for completion, tracking and filing of work
Organize statistical data by utilizing various analytical databases to comply with questionnaire/database specifications
Build an understanding of portfolios’ investment process, construction, and risk management with a view of adding to the sales process
Potentially be involved in mentoring the junior analyst intake each year
Requirements of the Role:
1-3 years related work experience; RFP experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree, Economics/Communications/English/Liberal Arts preferred; some exposure to Economics or Finance courses or interest in the markets preferred but not required
Strong writing and editing skills; an excellent communicator
Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
Able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere
Self-starter, highly motivated
Critical thinker and a quick learner; intellectually curious
Able to make suggestions in a global context to find the best way of working
Able to work well both independently and as a team member
Interest in exploring a career in financial services
