Client Services Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview

Ready to make your mark in the world of asset management? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 10-week Summer Internship Program, kicking off in June 2026, offers you the opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of client services within a global investment firm. You’ll learn from seasoned professionals, gain hands-on experience, and build connections that will last a lifetime.

As part of our Summer Internship Program cohort, you’ll participate in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side by side with talented teams to learn about the business and contribute to meaningful initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Shape the Conversation: Review internal communications and reporting and share your ideas to make them clearer and more engaging.

  • Think Like a Problem-Solver: Analyze how we manage client partner information and brainstorm ways to make our systems more efficient.

  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Help with daily tasks like updating client agreement files and your attention to detail will keep us on track.

  • Be Part of the Action: Join team discussions and sit in on client meetings to see how business decisions happen in real time.

  • Drive Innovation: Assist with process improvement projects that enable us to work smarter and faster.

  • Promote Team Spirit: Help promote team engagement and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.

  • Enhance the Client Experience: Work on refining client service processes and documentation to make onboarding easier and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2027

  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions) and PowerPoint

  • Basic understanding of asset management, mutual funds and financial markets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working towards a college degree in Finance, Economics or a business discipline major preferred

  • Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking

  • Agility in managing shifting priorities and thriving in dynamic environments

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau

  • Understanding of AI applications (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics)

Compensation for this position is $35/hour.
