Job Description

The role:

The Managing Director, Global Liquidity Capital Markets is responsible for driving growth of the firm’s U.S. money market fund platform across banks, broker‑dealers, insurance carriers, asset management firms, intermediary platforms, and other regulated financial institutions. This role leads the sourcing, development, and expansion of senior‑level relationships across the U.S. institutional investor landscape, with a primary focus on originating new business and growing assets under management.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Drive growth of U.S. money market fund assets through direct engagement with treasury, liquidity, and investment teams across institutional clients.
  • Lead business development to identify, pursue, and win new opportunities across hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.
  • Increase the firm’s visibility, presence, and market share within the institutional liquidity ecosystem.
  • Integrate Global Liquidity initiatives with the firm’s broader institutional distribution and sales strategy.
  • Partner with Global Portfolio Managers to communicate market conditions, regulatory developments, and product priorities.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships across treasury, funding, securities lending, and investment leadership teams.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, client forums, and institutional events.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, legal, compliance, operations, and marketing teams, leveraging data, analytics, and CRM tools to prioritize opportunities and align around client needs.

Requirements of the role:

  • 10+ years of institutional sales experience covering regulated financial entities.
  • Deep understanding of institutional investor behavior, liquidity frameworks, and funding markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pricing, liquidity vehicles, workflows, and institutional distribution.
  • Proven track record of raising, growing, and retaining institutional assets.
  • Strong ability to articulate U.S. regulatory developments impacting liquidity and cash products.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, MBA, or similar) preferred.
  • Series 7 and 63 required; willingness to travel approximately 50%.

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
