Job Description
General Role Profile
Develops an understanding of pricing processes through structured training and on‑the‑job experience
Performs a range of routine pricing and valuation tasks with increasing autonomy
Applies established procedures to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
Recognizes patterns and anomalies within pricing data using defined validation checks
Collaborates closely with colleagues and may serve as a resource for new team members
Responsibilities
Obtain daily security prices from approved internal and external sources
Perform daily variance, exception, and tolerance review checks
Use secondary market data sources (e.g., Bloomberg, JPM, LSEG) to verify and validate pricing inputs
Assist in maintaining the accuracy of the daily pricing workflow and controls
Support improvements to pricing processes and data quality
Assist in documenting good‑faith pricing procedures and valuation processes
Prepare standard reports and support data requests related to fund audits
Address inquiries from Fund Accountants, Fund Accounting Managers, Compliance specialists, auditors, and Investment professionals
Contribute to periodic reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Review and validate foreign exchange rates and corporate action impacts
Support special projects related to pricing, valuation controls, data remediation, or reporting enhancements
Begin developing productive relationships with pricing vendors and market data providers
The Experience You Bring
Minimum 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, economics, or a related analytical field within the securities or investment industry
Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles relevant to securities pricing
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial data applications; advanced Excel skills a plus
Familiarity with market data platforms (ICE, Bloomberg, LSEG) preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret pricing discrepancies and market data
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
Progress toward CFA designation is preferred but not required
Foundational knowledge of pricing processes, investment products, and market data sources
Ability to apply procedures and controls to ensure accurate daily valuation
Developing expertise in a specific area of pricing or security type
