Job Description

The role:

This role partners closely with one or more Model Consultant regions to drive model portfolio sales, accelerate business growth, and deliver a differentiated client experience. The position is highly commercial in nature, requiring a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This individual will play a key role in expanding the Custom Models business, deepening client relationships, and enabling high-impact sales activity across the region.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Proactively engage existing Invesco model portfolio users through phone and targeted email campaigns
  • Identify and pursue off-the-shelf (OTS) model opportunities, including large platform and enterprise wins
  • Deliver virtual and in-person presentations on model portfolios and practice management strategies
  • Clearly articulate the value and role of model portfolios within an advisor’s practice
  • Lead quarterly client review calls, respond to portfolio change requests, and deliver tailored insights and commentary
  • Create and customize co-branded marketing materials, analyze client models, and develop proposals using tools like YCharts
  • Support prospective client meetings by capturing insights, coordinating follow-ups, and partnering with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain pipeline tracking, model data (Excel), and ensure seamless execution through cross-functional coordination with Distribution, Investments, and Operations

Requirements of the role:

  • Experience within the asset management or financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong, trust-based client relationships
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach and sense of urgency in pursuing opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging, impactful presentations
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce preferred
  • Self-motivated professional with a commitment to excellence and high-quality client and stakeholder engagement
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills; professional licenses (Series 7, 63) required or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire; willingness to travel ~5–10%

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 Base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location
