As a Product Associate in Acquiring Data & Analytics Platform, you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. Working closely with the product management team and cross-functional partners, you contribute your skills and insights to help ensure the success of our product offerings. - Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
- Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
- Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
- Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
- Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
- Drive and own end-to-end process, understanding the data requirements and leveraging analytical tools to deliver solutions
- Develop strategy to integrate complementary data products
- Collaborate across many cross-functional groups (e.g., analytics, technology, data, risk, compliance, legal) to define business needs and identify effective solutions
- Develop innovative solutions and review output to measure KPIs
- Develop ways to leverage data assets to improve overall client experience and satisfaction
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
- Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle
- Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Expertise in data mining (SQL, Snowflake) – candidate needs to have the ability to analyze data
- Data Visualization (Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, ThoughtSpot)
- Expertise in leading end to end product development
- Understanding of application development process; prior programming experience
- Experience in the payments industry and/or technology-enabled industries
- Experience in agile methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work across functions as well as with outside parties to ensure alignment and timely implementation of initiatives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field of study; Advance Degree preferred
- Ability to build trust-based relationships
- Ability to work well within deadlines
- Executive presence and presentation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Understanding “deep data” environments, ideally with a Merchant mindset
- High achievement orientation with ability to lead and motivate others around results
