DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s users. Converse fluently in the full web technology stack. Develop an understanding of JPMC's products and the problems they are attempting to solve. Plan, design, test, debug, and deploy software solutions for managing infrastructure, project management, capacity planning, and operational efficiencies. Leverage large amounts of machine, performance, application, and inventory data to create a unique representation. Analyze infrastructure problems and constraints, inefficiencies, process gaps, risk, and regulatory issues and engineer software or automation solutions. Work in partnership with infrastructure engineers and architects to understand and identify operational improvements. Automate complex functions to improve the delivery of information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Consultant (IT), Web Developer, IT Manager, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: implementing GoldenGate replication technology to facilitate seamless data integration and synchronization between on- premises Oracle databases AWS RDS, Aurora, and PostgreSQL databases; ensuring data consistency and availability across AWS cloud and Cloud Foundry environments; and conducting real-time data analytics by leveraging GraphQL, AWS Glue, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Amazon SNS, AWS Lambda, ECS, EventBridge, and QlikSense. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: designing and building API-based microservices and web-based applications on AWS using EC2, ALB, NLB, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS Fargate, MFTS, SQS, S3, and Route53; using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, including Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube; writing Infrastructure- as-Code and Environment-as-Code using CloudFormation and Terraform; building upon messaging and event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, Cassandra MSK, KINESIS, and Spark Structured Streaming; and integrating Spinnaker with AWS for the CICD pipeline. This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills: working with banking technology drivers including digital transformation, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance; leveraging Java 8+, Spring Boot, Restful Microservices, React, TypeScript, CSS, and Micro Frontend Development; using logging, observability, and monitoring tools including Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, and Grafana; using Docker for containerization; using Kubernetes for orchestration, including to manage the application cluster and scale microservices; using JWT tokenization to protect sensitive customer data; implementing OAuth 2 for secure API access.
