As a Solutions Analyst I in Enterprise Technology - Identity & Access Management team, you will bridge partnerships between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Your role involves leveraging technical fluency and analytical reasoning to assist in eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements. Translating these into technically feasible solutions, you’ll be adapting to ambiguous situations, supporting project teams and managing dependencies. Your developing proficiency in data analytics will enable you to extract key insights from diverse data sets to support decision-making and key business initiatives. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will ensure clear and concise information exchange with stakeholders, while your emerging knowledge of technical solutions and applied architecture principles will contribute to your understanding of technology alignment with business strategy.
You will help organize schedules, manage communications, track deliverables, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the quality and predictability of IAM releases. This is a hands-on, junior role ideal for someone with strong communication skills who is highly organized, collaborative, and eager to learn about the technology development lifecycle and project management.
Job responsibilities
- Supports scheduling, readiness checks, and execution for IAM releases; assist with change records and approvals in the Service Management tool and coordinate release activities with Engineers.
- Maintains JIRA boards and workflows; prepare concise status updates, metrics, and dashboards (Excel), and escalate risks/blocks.
- Partners with QA/engineering on test readiness, regression and performance sign offs, and release criteria; help track User Acceptance Test (UAT) outcomes.
- Captures runbooks, release checklists, and playbooks in Confluence; standardize templates and maintain current artifacts.
- Uses light scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) to streamline data collection, report generation, and routine checks; contribute to simple automation of release tasks.
- Drafts clear partner and operations comms (pre/post release), and coordinate touchpoints across Product, Operations, and Engineering.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in applied architecture principles and the ability to understand the alignment of technology with business strategy
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow through.
- Clear verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging cross functional teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and ceremonies.
- Some Hands on experience (or coursework/internship exposure) with; ServiceNow (change/incident records, approvals), JIRA (issues, boards, workflows) and Confluence (documentation), Excel (pivot tables, charts) and basic scripting (Python or Shell) for simple automation/reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset; ability to learn technical concepts and tools quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Proactive, continuous improvement orientation; comfortable proposing process enhancements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Basic familiarity with test coordination and UAT workflows.
- Exposure to release readiness checks (implementation plan, back out plan, validation steps).
- Introductory SQL or data querying for metrics/reporting
