As a member of the Commercial Bank Analytics & Reporting team, you are an integral part of our efforts to provide strategic insights to track sales performance, promote growth and efficiencies, and assist our partners with self-service analytics capabilities. By providing information, analysis, and recommendations, our teams ensure the company can navigate all types of market conditions while protecting our fortress balance sheet.
As an Analytics Solutions Associate within the Commercial Bank Analytics & Reporting team, you will utilize a variety of tools to boost the firm's value by producing insights, developing dashboards, automating processes, and supporting enhanced decision-making across the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize analytical solutions using SQL, Python, and Alteryx to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Build, validate, and maintain robust data models and workflows in Alteryx, ensuring data quality and process efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for advanced analytics, data validation, and process automation.
- Collaborate with business partners (Business Management, Finance, Front Office Sales) to gather requirements, deliver actionable insights, and support strategic initiatives.
- Partner with technical teams (Data Engineering, Technology, Finance) to enhance data infrastructure and resolve data issues.
- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for dashboards and analytical reports, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership through clear visualizations and executive-level presentations.
- Document processes, workflows, and recurring reports to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
2 years of work experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related field.
2 years of hands-on experience coding in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
2 years of experience developing data workflows and automations in Alteryx.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and analytical techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience automating documentation and reporting processes.
