Job Summary
As a Loan Servicing Specialist IV in the Cash Department, you ensure timely escrow disbursements, accurate mortgage payment processing, and precise account management. You bring a quality‑first mindset to reconciliations and documentation while communicating clearly with customers and partners. You contribute to a high‑performing team that prioritizes accuracy, service, and operational excellence. You will help identify issues early, surface risks, and drive continuous improvements that make processes simpler and more reliable.

You will work closely with colleagues in operations, finance, and technology to resolve exceptions, improve controls, and enhance customer outcomes. You will use loan servicing tools and Microsoft Excel to analyze accounts, validate data, and generate reporting that informs decisions. You will help uphold regulatory and policy standards while meeting daily production goals and deadlines. Job Responsibilities

  • Disburse escrow payments and process mortgage payments in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Perform escrow analysis and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review, research, and resolve payment exceptions, discrepancies, and unapplied funds.
  • Maintain complete, auditable records and documentation for all transactions.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, internal partners, and external parties in writing and verbally.
  • Utilize loan servicing systems and Microsoft Excel to manage accounts and produce reports.
  • Monitor key deadlines to ensure on‑time disbursements and prevent penalties or shortages.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  • Identify control gaps, propose solutions, and escalate risks promptly to leadership.
  • Adhere to regulatory, policy, and quality standards across all work activities.
  • Support related cash management and receivables activities as needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3 years of experience in loan operations, accounts receivable, escrow analysis, or a related financial services role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with loan servicing software.
  • Accounting experience with reconciliations and ledger entries.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing and escrow processes, including applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
  • Customer service experience within financial services.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, such as pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations.
  • Exposure to metrics reporting and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Work schedules will be full‑time in office, on a 40‑hour per week schedule.
