The Private Bank’s digital portfolio construction and analysis platform empowers JPMorgan advisors to efficiently build, analyze, propose, and implement investment portfolios for clients and prospects. Integrating financial planning, asset aggregation, advanced portfolio and risk analytics, tax optimization, and proposal capabilities, the platform supports personalized investment strategies and seamless portfolio management as a core part of the advisor digital ecosystem.
Job Description: The Private Bank Digital Portfolio Construction and Analysis Product Associate will focus on the execution and enhancement of our digital portfolio construction and analysis platform. This role requires a proactive individual with a foundational understanding of investment portfolio management, capable of supporting product execution to deliver value to our advisors and clients. The Associate will partner closely with Advisors, Product Managers, Design, Technology, Solutions, and cross-line of business partners.
Core Responsibilities:
Execution and Support
- Advance digital portfolio tools by partnering with Advisors, Product Managers, Design, Technology, Solutions, and Analytics to enhance portfolio construction and analysis capabilities.
Provide support for advisors by addressing platform issues, questions, and feedback to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Support product initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enhancements through agile development.
Product Development and Management
- Develop and refine business requirements, translating feedback and research into actionable user stories.
- Support the product lifecycle, including user research, design, development, testing, and launch.
- Analyze product performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate product updates and execution plans.
- Gather and organize feedback from advisors and partners to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in requirements gathering and roadmap strategy sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in product management, project management, or as part of a client-facing advisor team; experience in financial services, wealth management, or Fintech preferred.
- Familiarity with investment products and wealth management solutions (e.g., separately managed accounts, alternative investments).
Familiarity with user journeys and agile methodology.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to deliver results and drive initiatives to execution.
