DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Architect, engineer, and manage large-scale infrastructure platforms to support observability and operational intelligence across business-critical systems in a financial technology environment. Build declarative modules to automate network design, policies, instance provisioning, object storage integrations, and autoscaling of compute resources. Develop infrastructure automation workflows to support full-lifecycle deployment, configuration management, scaling, and maintenance of platforms. Develop and implement dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor system performance and security. Manage and maintain observability solutions, data lifecycle management, and federated search configurations. Enable and measure performance indicators, correlation searches, and service-based views for proactive incident detection and business-level health monitoring. Design and execute data models, summary indexes, and knowledge objects to enhance data analysis capabilities. Collaborate with security, reliability, platform, and business teams to support infrastructure aligned with compliance, risk management, and operational resilience requirements. Conduct performance tuning, root cause analysis, and failure recovery tests across hybrid cloud environments. Maintain technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, deployment playbooks, and configuration histories.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, Splunk Engineer, IT Consultant, Software Developer, Tools Engineer, Java Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, Splunk Engineer, IT Consultant, Software Developer, Tools Engineer, Java Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: Developing dashboards, reports, and alerts using Splunk to monitor system performance and security; Managing observability, monitoring, and failure remediation using Splunk, Splunk ITSI, and Elastic Stack for core applications in an enterprise environment. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Handling large-scale data volumes using Splunk, ranging from terabytes to petabytes; Designing and executing data models, summary indexes, and knowledge objects using Splunk to enhance data analysis capabilities; Managing virtual machine, Red Hat Linux, Splunk clustered, storage, and AWS cloud infrastructure using Python and shell automation; Engineering and managing automated CI/CD pipelines using Spinnaker, Jules, Git, SaltStack, and Terraform to support continuous infrastructure deployment, configuration rollouts, and compliance validation; Designing, building, and managing infrastructure using Spinnaker, Jules, Git, SaltStack, and Terraform in AWS public and on-premise data centers; Maintaining and performing operations on RHEL servers and clusters using SaltStack to deploy configurations and repaves aligned with security policies.
