As an Associate Banker on the Consumer Disciplines Banking team, you will help drive client acquisition and deepen ongoing relationships by introducing our comprehensive solutions and supporting profitable growth within the Commercial & Specialized Industries (C&SI) target space. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, with a methodical approach to market activity and prospecting, and develop working knowledge across core solutions including Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card, and Chase Paymentech Solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer‑centric mindset in every aspect of client engagement and internal collaboration
  • Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and strategic partnerships that advance client outcomes and the franchise .
  • Improve efficiency by leveraging existing technical infrastructure and automation while embracing new technologies that elevate client service and sales effectiveness
  • Support proactive coverage of a multi‑state and multi‑segment territory and partner across C&SI with Core, TDC/DCI, Food & Ag, and MNC teams as a Discipline banker
  • Develop industry expertise within the Food sector across subsectors such as brands, suppliers, distribution, and co‑manufacturing; help own relationship coverage across the supply chain
  • Actively partner across lines of business including Investment Banking, Syndicated Finance, Asset Based Lending, and Direct Lending to deliver integrated solutions to clients
  • Contribute to client acquisition and relationship growth by introducing comprehensive solutions and maintaining a methodical approach to prospecting and market activity

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Direct lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships; strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and resources and to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines; strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility with senior business and control partners
  • Deep local connections and market knowledge to support our local‑delivery model

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training
  • Sales management and business development skills with a track record of building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Strong creative problem‑solving abilities; flexible to changing business priorities and able to multitask effectively
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self‑direction, proactivity, and creativity
