DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Enhance, build, and deliver innovative market-leading software solutions and technology products such as global product offerings within U.S. Treasury Bonds, Rates Derivative Trading Workflows, Sovereign, Corporates, Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Emerging Markets. Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Python 3, including building microservice-based systems with modern Python frameworks; writing scalable test suites using Pytest, while ensuring code coverage and ensuring high software reliability; building and managing PostgreSQL databases using Python classes, such as SQLAlchemyORM; designing and developing intuitive, accessible, and responsive web applications with a focus on user experience and usability with framework such as Angular10; developing and testing frontend software including JavaScript based using frameworks such as Jasmine to write and run unit tests for applications; building and designing scalable data pipelines including implementation of schedulers to manage complex workflows utilizing tools such as Dagster or NextDoor Scheduler; working in Agile methodology for the Software Development Life Cycle; end-to-end Agile software development lifecycle; working with AWS Cloud Services, including configuring and managing EC2 instances for scalable compute environments; utilizing S3 buckets to store and retrieve data sources programmatically; Microservices; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Regression Testing; Unit Testing. This position requires any amount of experience in the following: XML.

Full-Time. Salary: $160,000.00-$215,000.00 per year.
