Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions on public cloud platforms to address business challenges using innovative engineering practices. Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, integration of architectural standards into application design, documentation of specifications, and conversion of technical requirements into application modules. Develop and enhance software application modules in the public cloud environment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application code. Engage in code reviews to ensure solutions align with architectural standards. Contribute to design reviews by recommending ways to integrate requirements into designs and data flows. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and team members in project planning sessions to assess business needs and propose effective solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: designing and developing software applications using Java with object-oriented programming and design patterns; utilizing the Spring Framework including Spring Boot to construct enterprise applications; architecting and deploying applications on AWS Cloud Services using a range of services including S3, Lambda functions, DynamoDB, and API Gateway; working with data analytics and warehousing ETL processes with Informatica PowerCenter; utilizing SQL for database management and querying; working with JSON for data interchange and integration; developing and consuming REST APIs for web services; utilizing TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications; using GIT for version control; conducting unit testing with Junit; and working with Linux operating systems including Shell Scripting.

Full-Time. Salary: $169,100 - $ 185, 000 per year.
