As a Network Registration Associate within the Merchant & Third-Party Operations Oversight & Governance team, you will be responsible for leading process for Payment Brand Registrations around High-Risk Merchant and Third-Party operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for complex registration, reconciliation, and compliance issues. You will ensure timely and accurate resolution while minimizing business disruption. You will have strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to drive root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and influence cross-functional teams. You will also champion process improvements, quality reviews, and audit readiness, supporting the organization’s risk and compliance objectives.


Job responsibilities

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex and high-impact Payment issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal business disruption
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for escalated cases, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Oversee the integrity and accuracy of registration and reconciliation processes, proactively identifying and addressing gaps or risks
  • Manage exception reporting, quality reviews, and audit readiness, ensuring all escalated issues are documented and resolved in accordance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Develop and maintain escalation protocols, process documentation, and communication frameworks to support efficient issue management
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior analysts and business partners on escalation handling, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements
  • Represent the Registration function in cross-functional meetings, audits, and regulatory reviews, advocating for process improvements and operational excellence
  • Analyze performance data and trends related to escalations, preparing executive-level reports and recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry knowledge and analytics to optimize escalation management and registration operations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and client focus within the team and across business partners

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Merchant Services, Card Brand Registration, Compliance, or related fields, with proven escalation management experience
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to influence and collaborate across functions and senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, issue resolution, and process improvement
  • Experience in preparing and delivering high-quality presentations and analytics for executive audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of electronic payment processing, PCI standards, risk impact analysis, and payment brand rules
  • Experience in audit readiness, exception reporting, and compliance documentation

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree or specialized training preferred
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams or projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of integrity, respect, and innovation
  • Experience with industry-leading data analytics platforms and reporting tools
