As a Network Registration and BIN File Oversight - Client Operations Associate within the Chase Global Card Operations team, you will play a key role in safeguarding our Merchant Services business and supporting our clients’ success. You will lead initiatives to improve operational processes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and mandates. You will also have end-to-end responsibility for identification and mitigation of process gaps related to mandated policies and procedures. You will help ensure our clients meet the highest standards, directly contributing to the firm’s reputation and the broader financial community.
Job responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert for sanctioned BIN Files
- Manage the evaluation and monitoring of BIN Files, ensuring adherence to established standards, compiling data, and maintaining documentation for audit readiness
- Ensure the most accurate, confidential, up-to-date, and timely information is provided throughout the registration process
- Serve as the escalation point for complex and high-impact issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal business disruption
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for escalated cases
- Oversee the integrity and accuracy processes, proactively identifying and addressing gaps or risks
- Develop and maintain escalation protocols, process documentation, and communication frameworks to support efficient issue management
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior analysts and business partners on escalation handling, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with peers and internal partners using a team-oriented approach
- Prepare and present high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and time management skills
- Strong and effective skills in problem solving, analytical reasoning, and balancing multiple tasks
- Expertise in collating, reporting, and reconciling large data sets
- General understanding of Merchant Services, compliance, quality, operations, legal, and risk
- Strong customer/client focus while ensuring a sound control environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate documentation
- Ability to successfully prioritize multiple complex deliverables
- Ability to monitor and analyze performance data both in real time and on a cumulative basis, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure success
- Ability to articulate the impact of risks and issues on the business function
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- Merchant Services Background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner
- Proficient with PowerPoint and developing high-quality presentations, graphs, and analytics
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions
