Legal & Regulatory Change Coordination - Associate II

- Partner with functional SMEs, Legal, Compliance, and Operations leaders to evaluate regulatory and legal changes and implement required updates across CCB processes and controls.
- Manage sustainment to keep legal obligation-to-procedure mappings current through BAU changes in a dynamic legal/regulatory environment.
- Monitor business assessments and end-to-end implementation of legal changes, ensuring scope, ownership, and timelines are clear and tracked.
- Drive consistency and quality of intake, evaluation, and change implementation processes across ~20 Operations functions, including standard templates, workflows, and controls.
- Track and report SLAs, throughput/volumes, performance metrics, issues, and risks to leadership; escalate blockers and propose remediation plans.
- Onboard, coach, and support new functional SMEs across Operations, including training on process, tooling, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
- Identify, influence, and partner to deliver process improvements that streamline intake, accelerate assessment, enhance traceability, and strengthen control evidence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory change lifecycle (intake, impact assessment, implementation, validation/sustainment) and linkage of legal obligations to procedures and controls.
- Experience coordinating across multiple functions with differing priorities; proven ability to standardize processes and drive consistency at scale.
- Proficiency with workflow and governance tools (e.g., GRC platforms, inventory/obligation repositories, Jira/ServiceNow, SharePoint/Confluence); strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills; comfortable presenting status, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized; able to manage metrics, SLAs, and deadlines across a high-volume change portfolio.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA)
- 3+ years in regulatory change management, compliance, risk management, legal operations, or operations change within financial services; CCB/retail bank experience
