DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and capital markets transactions. Participate in the "full cycle" of transaction execution including preparing marketing materials, reviewing and formulating financial analyses, presenting both internally and externally. Interact with senior team members and client management teams to execute ECM transactions and discuss strategic alternatives. Define, guide and review detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses. Define, guide and review financial analyses in the context of ECM pitch situations and M&A transactions. Develop and maintain active dialogue with buyside investor clients. Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to Associates and Analysts. This position requires up to 5% domestic travel and up to 5% international travel to client and JPMC sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, Mathematics or related field of study plus 2 years (24 months) of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: equity capital markets investment banking; executing Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions, including managing processes and driving deals through all stages to completion; applying a creative and strategic capital markets mindset to provide clients with relevant, actionable financing and advisory solutions; Creating detailed pitch books and marketing materials for client meetings and roadshows; Preparing and reviewing offering documents, prospectuses, and regulatory documentation for equity transactions; Analyzing equity markets, track trends, interpret market data, and working with SEC regulations and compliance requirements; executing IPOs and follow-on offerings, including conducting due diligence on financial statements and legal documents; Developing and maintaining complex financial models for valuation, scenario analysis, and transaction structuring; Organizing and outputting data and financial information using functionalities in PowerPoint and Excel including Vlookup, index match, data analysis add-ons, pivots, and VBA chart; Performing financial analysis using techniques including logistic regression, multivariate regression, and cohort analysis; Conducting comprehensive market research and analysis by utilizing Bloomberg, FactSet, and Thomson Reuters.
Job Location: 560 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. This position requires up to 5% domestic and 5% international travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $200,000-$225,000 per year.
