Duties: Develop syndication strategies to raise new capital for corporate and sponsor clients. Price bespoke transactions in the infrastructure space. Structure key terms and negotiate documents. Conduct bond portfolio analysis on pricing and trenching scenarios to advise clients on optimal capital structure. Perform net present value and interest expense calculations in the context of bond refinancing to analyze timing of issuance. Conduct liability management modeling to evaluate proactive tenders and exchanges of existing bonds. Produce regression analysis for client pitch materials to evaluate credit trends. Analyze historical macro-economic trends and conduct rate sensitivity analysis using data tables for scenario planning. Compare cross-currency financing alternatives using relative value swap comparisons. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to client sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Grade Finance, Investment Banking Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Advising clients on optimal market entry timing, available market capacity, and pricing strategies to maximize access based on analysis of the infrastructure bank market; Presenting syndication strategies that demonstrate optimal approaches for securing full commitment of the desired loan facility within the bank market to clients; Explaining DCM products, including public bonds, private placements, and syndicated loans, as recommended financing tools for issuer clients; Incorporating analysis of the equity market and interest rate changes, including expected action by the Federal Reserve into client pitches and internal discussions; This position requires any amount of experience with the following: Reviewing daily changes in bond prices to evaluate market conditions; Analyzing financial models, statements, projections, and cash flow profiles to identify credit trends and patterns; Assessing borrower creditworthiness and adjusting proposed pricing accordingly; Deriving indicative pricing using bond pricing conventions and financial and operational analysis; Quantitatively evaluating lenders' risk appetites for syndications of client capital raising events; Designing lender presentations that accurately depict the financial and operational strengths of issuers; Designing syndication strategies and trackers, and creating graphical analyses for clients in Excel using advanced functions including pivot tables and VLOOKUP. This position requires the following license(s): Series 79; Series 63; SIE.

Job Location: 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to client sites.

Full-Time. Salary: $285,000 - $285,000 per year.
