DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for modernizing the bank's deposits infrastructure. Pinpoint critical risk indicators, craft strategic metrics and reports, and identify new analytical areas to enhance business and product strategies. Discover, assess, and utilize internal data sources to conduct analysis and extract insights. Conduct descriptive and exploratory analysis on large datasets from multiple sources. Develop compelling narratives, data visualizations, and automated dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations. Deliver ad- hoc data requests involving complex business cases from multiple stakeholders. Engage in the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, data discovery, solution design, testing, and maintenance. Evaluate tools and technologies for designing solutions and creating ETL processes for processing large datasets. Translate technical concepts into insights for non-technical stakeholders by creating metrics and leveraging statistical analysis for decision-making. Identify opportunities with AI and Large Language Models to improve processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Engineer, Automation Test Analyst, Technology Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Engineer, Automation Test Analyst, Technology Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Wrangling, cleaning, organizing, aggregating, transformation and enriching large and unstructured data; Designing and developing interactive Excel or PPT reports with advanced functions including VLOOKUP, index match, data analysis add-ons, pivots, VBA, and VBScript; Executing data quality and validation checks and delivering analytical reports aligned with business objectives; Translating technical concepts to product managers, user design researchers, and software engineers, and perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis on large datasets; Performing data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow, query optimization, CTE, Windows functions, and automating and optimizing business processes using SQL and Python; Performing data extraction and transformation, analyzing datasets, and building data pipelines using relational databases such AWS Redshift, Oracle, or Snowflake; Providing analytical solutions, designing data pipelines, and delivering summarized reports within consumer financial services. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Developing and maintaining dynamic and interactive dashboards using Tableau leveraging advanced visualization, ETL automation, ODBC connectors, and Python.
