JPMorgan Chase’s (JPMC) Corporate Third-Party Oversight Program, part of Global Supplier Services, is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the framework that ensures effective use of suppliers to achieve strategic goals. The program covers oversight of both external third-party suppliers and internal intra-affiliate services, and includes Supplier Assurance Services, Governance and Risk Design. The program also builds awareness across the firm, ensures global consistency across all Lines of Business and Corporate Functions, and manages outsourcing regulatory requirements, including periodic updates to regulators.
As an Industry, Innovation & Incubation - Associate within Strategy, Innovation & Partnerships, you will lead the evolution of Corporate Third Party Oversight by managing key partnerships and identifying industry opportunities to transform the program. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation, support third-party solution partnerships, and create profit opportunities. The role involves maintaining strong cross-functional relationships to support program needs through AI transformation and operationalizing the Innovation initiative. While focusing on regulatory requirements, you will help drive innovative solutions that strengthen third-party trust.
Job Responsibilities
Own key partnerships within Third-Party Oversight to help define innovation opportunities and build solutions.
- Prepare and review reports, presentations, and other documents for executive meetings.
- Deliver innovative solutions to program leads by knowing the third party solution industry inside and out.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements and ensure a smooth transition during process changes.
- Conduct industry and internal research and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Lead special projects and initiatives in support of the Global Head of Corporate Third-Party Oversight.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 2 years of experience in Business
- Knowledge of risk management and control principles.
- Strong executive presence and storytelling skills; able to communicate analytic details and insights effectively.
- Team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Mastery of verbal and written communications.
- High degree of discipline and ownership; able to work both independently and within a team, exercising sound judgment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- Professionalism, self-motivation, and a strong sense of urgency.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Familiarity with third party oversight in a financial institution.
- Experience working in a global or regional team environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain risk platforms and tools.
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
