Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Web Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Web Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: Executing end-to-end of any workflow management system using Java, Springboot and microservices; Developing user interfaces with JavaScript 6, ReactJS, and Redux; Configuring and enforcing security controls using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and AWS Secrets Manager; Implementing monitoring, logging, and storage solutions using AWS S3, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and Splunk; Exporting and transforming data from AWS RDS to Snowflake for analytics and reporting; Deploying and orchestrating serverless applications using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and Step Functions; Designing, securing, and scaling APIs using AWS API Gateway; Containerizing and deploying applications using Docker; automating deployment pipelines using Spinnaker and Harness for CI/CD in AWS ECS. This position requires one (1) year of experience in the following: Developing and deploying LLM applications using OpenAl's API; designing and applying advanced prompting strategies including zero-shot, few- shot, and chain of thoughts to optimize LLM outputs; building scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Flask frameworks, PyMuPDF, PdfPlumber, and FAISS; accessing and managing relational databases using SQLAlchemy; writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests using Pytest; designing and developing systems with NoSQL databases including MongoDB, and Cassandra.
