Bring clarity, discipline, and momentum to the U.S. Private Bank’s most important priorities. You’ll partner with senior leaders and control functions to translate strategy into measurable outcomes and strengthen the advisor and client experience.

As Head of Business Management within the U.S. Private Bank (USPB) team, you will serve as a senior advisor and execution lead to the leadership team, helping us turn strategy into action and sustained results. You’ll run an effective operating rhythm and governance model, connect teams across regions and platforms, and ensure work is delivered with strong risk and control discipline. You’ll also lead a distributed Business Management organization and help improve advisor productivity and the client experience through better prioritization, escalation management, and execution follow-through.

Job responsibilities:

  • Drive disciplined execution of USPB priorities set by leadership, aligning to growth objectives, risk discipline, and measurable outcomes.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to USPB leadership on trade-offs, sequencing, interdependencies, regulatory considerations, and delivery risks.
  • Translate client and advisor needs into prioritized roadmaps, balancing near-term delivery with longer-term strategy.
  • Assess impacts of strategic initiatives and change programs on clients, advisors, and the operating model, shape execution approach and communications.
  • Own the USPB leadership operating rhythm and governance routines (leadership meetings, offsites, senior leadership conferences, and town halls).
  • Establish clear agendas, materials, decision capture, and follow-through across leadership forums to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Lead leadership engagement and recognition programs (e.g., promotions and senior recognition forums) to strengthen culture and connectivity.
  • Act as primary liaison to Compliance, Legal, Risk, Audit, and GFCC for governance forums, regulatory engagements, issue management, and remediation tracking.
  • Provide senior oversight of complex client and advisor matters, ensuring appropriate escalation, clear ownership, and timely resolution by accountable teams.
  • Oversee senior-level resolution of advisor and client escalations and lead operational enhancements that improve advisor productivity, client experience, data quality, and resiliency.
  • Lead and develop a distributed team of ~30 Business Managers, establishing consistent standards, coaching on critical initiatives, and embedding franchise-wide operating practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of consulting, project/program delivery, or business management experience, including large-scale rollouts.
  • Executive-level relationship management and communication skills, with strong judgment and discretion.
  • Strong written communication: ability to synthesize complex topics into clear materials for senior audiences.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across functions (front office, finance, legal, risk, compliance, operations, technology, marketing).
  • Strong change leadership skills across process/policy updates, technology rollouts, products, and regulatory/business change.

  • Working knowledge of private banking business models, processes, and systems.
