Job Summary:
As a Product Director in the Cloud Foundations Product Management team within Infrastructure Platforms, you will define and drive a domain within the foundational control plane for the Atlas platform. Your work will enable teams to build on a reliable, standardized cloud infrastructure, reducing fragmentation and supporting scalable growth. You'll play a key role in translating platform strategy into actionable requirements, fostering collaboration across domains, and embedding AI-powered capabilities into platform products and day-to-day workflows to drive efficiency, quality, and speed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and standardize infrastructure across cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) creating clear product experiences that engineering teams want to adopt.
  • Establish patterns between cloud and internal systems, cross-region, and hybrid setups
  • Identify and resolve gaps between platform domains, turning friction into product opportunities.
  • Translate platform strategy into clear requirements, sequencing, and ownership
  • Make trade-offs explicit, balancing speed, control, flexibility, and standardization
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams, and other product teams
  • Operate as a product lead for your domain platform capabilities
  • Drive reduction of fragmentation and one-off solutions building reusable, self-service capabilities.
  • Enable engineering teams to build on the platform without reinventing the basics
  • Foster a culture of reliability and governance in cloud environments

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in platform, infrastructure, or cloud environments
  • Ability to operate with engineering teams as primary customers
  • Strong systems thinking to connect multiple domains into a coherent whole
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and bringing structure and clarity
  • Confidence collaborating with engineering and architecture teams
  • Understanding of cloud provider environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with security, connectivity, and governance principles
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable requirements

  • Professional, conversational approach to problem-solving
  • Objective focus on delivering reliable, standardized solutions

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with hybrid and cross-region cloud connectivity and/or networking.
  • Background in product management for platform or infrastructure teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive reduction of fragmentation in large-scale environments
  • Experience shaping platform foundations in a complex, regulated organization
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML tooling or AI agents to infrastructure, operations, or product workflows.
  • Passion for working at the intersection of infrastructure, systems, and product
  • Ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes
