DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide operational support for interest rate derivative trades. Ensure accuracy in Markitwire and TradeAgent submissions and volumes across all interest rate derivatives products and sub-product types. Identify and monitor any system or application failures that prevent the normal straight-through process from being completed until resolved. Adhere to all trade processing controls and regulatory requirements, including start, intraday, and end-of-day checkpoints. Respond promptly to requests and queries from marketers or clients. Escalate problematic trades to Sales, Middle Office, and Operational Management as necessary. Serve as the primary point of contact for queries from marketers, clients, and internal teams, including Risk Middle Office, Reference Data Team, Confirmations, DTCC, Settlements, Valuations, Collateral, Legal, Credit, and Audit. Onboard clients to the preferred electronic matching utility. Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology, risk, compliance, and front office to define scope, align priorities, and ensure timely delivery of new sales-trading workflows and system implementations. Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) for all processes and controls to facilitate proper handover among teammates. Stay informed about market trends and key economic dates to provide appropriate coverage and support to the front office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services Associate, FX Trader Support Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: processing Cleared Products, including Mandated to Clear (MTC) requirements, using Swap Execution Facilities (SEF) for Derivative Products; documenting Derivatives life-cycle events, including legal representation and documentation of life-cycle events, using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Markitwire and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) documentation standards; analyzing and optimizing front-to-back trade life cycle flow for Rates Derivatives Products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; calculating and assessing risk components and relative calculations for Derivatives Products; evaluating and ensuring compliance with Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) reporting eligibility for Derivative Products; assessing Non-Cleared Margin Requirements (NCMR) and evaluating clients and products for initial and variation margins using regulatory guidelines; utilizing Markitwire Portal, Markitwire and DMS for trade processing, product eligibility, trade details, and product standard conventions; applying the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) framework to manage and document derivatives transactions; analyzing Interest Rate Products, both over-the-counter (OTC) and exchange-traded products (ETP), including economic differences, valuations, coupon calculations, and risk assessments; managing and ensuring compliance with Central Counterparty Clearing Houses (CCP) requirements, including London Clearing House (LCH) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) standards.

Full-Time. Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
