Make an impact in U.S. Payroll Operations by helping ensure employees’ pay is processed accurately and in compliance with garnishment requirements. You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where attention to detail matters and your contributions help strengthen operational excellence. You’ll partner closely with U.S.-based stakeholders across Payroll, HR, and Legal to resolve inquiries and improve end-to-end processes. You’ll also have opportunities to support continuous improvement and automation initiatives that reduce manual effort.


As an Associate within our US Payroll Operations Garnishment Team, you will support the administration and processing of employee garnishments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. You will review and maintain garnishment orders within payroll systems and help resolve questions or discrepancies through close partnership with internal teams and external agencies. You will contribute to improving controls, documentation, and operational routines that support audits and ongoing compliance. You will also support process improvement and, where applicable, automation efforts to enhance efficiency.

Job responsibilities

  • Process and administer U.S. payroll garnishments, ensuring accurate and compliant handling.
  • Review, validate, and update garnishment orders in payroll systems in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Utilize Oracle HCM Payroll to support garnishment processing, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Payroll, Legal, and HR teams to resolve garnishment inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Support process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Assist with automation initiatives using tools such as Alteryx, as applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain garnishment documentation and reports to support audits and internal review.
  • Communicate timely updates to internal stakeholders and external agencies regarding garnishment activity.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold compliance standards in all garnishment-related activities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Human Resources.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. wage garnishment regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience using Oracle HCM Payroll or a comparable payroll system.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting U.S. payroll garnishment operations.
  • Familiarity with payroll automation tools (e.g., Alteryx).
  • Exposure to process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Payroll- or HR-related certification.
