As a Portfolio Administration Analyst, you will oversee client transactions, maintain portfolios, produce and distribute reporting, and respond to client inquiries. You will collaborate with internal teams, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with JPMorganChase’s risk management policies. Your role is critical in providing a seamless client experience and maintaining audit-ready operations.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and leadership for the delivery of Portfolio Administration services to clients
  • Review and ensure accuracy of client reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly)
  • Perform completeness reviews in a quality assurance capacity; maintain audit readiness
  • Drive client meetings and initiatives, ensuring needs and expectations are met or exceeded
  • Ensure established processes and procedures are followed with proper controls
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance accuracy, reduce redundancy, and mitigate risk
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure completion of end-to-end processes in line with risk management policies
  • Identify and resolve priority items within appropriate timeframes; escalate issues as necessary
  • Provide oversight on business metrics and key performance indicators for senior management
  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients; resolve inquiries quickly and accurately
  • Build relationships and interface with other business groups across JPMorganChase

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business discipline preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry; prior experience in alternative assets required
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational skills with a drive for impeccable quality
  • Ability to work independently with strong follow-through
  • Ability to collaborate and solve problems involving multiple stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with client service and relationship management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Discipline preferred
  • Demonstrated risk aversion and attention to detail
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and rapid change
  • High aptitude for understanding technical, procedural, and functional information
