As a Data Engineer II at JPMorganChase within the Enterprise Technology - Identity and Access Management team, you are part of an agile team that designs, improves, and delivers secure, stable, and scalable solutions for data collection, storage, access, and analytics. As an early-career member of the data engineering team, you contribute by designing, building, and troubleshooting multiple components across technical products, applications, and systems, while developing the skills needed to grow in the role. You help deliver end-to-end, cloud-native solutions using microservices architectures, modern technologies, and industry best practices. You also participate in solution design and architecture, working across all stages of the SDLC.
Job responsibilities:
- Clearly understand business requirement and plan solution to address data needs
- Partner with tech teams and business professionals to develop metrics aligned with domain priorities
- Prepare reports using various visualization and data modelling methods
- Develop, design, and maintain Tableau /Qlik Sense dashboards and analytics
- Proficiency in data analysis with Alteryx and SQL for data validation and issue resolution

Collect data from various sources and normalize and test and publish dashboards
- Solving any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources
- Monitoring reports and dashboards and make necessary changes
- Manage Tableau/Qlik Sense-driven implementations, architecture, and administration
- Actively manage the performance and usability of Tableau/Qlik Sense
- Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control, and other relevant firm-wide guidelines, maintaining our control environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on data engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Extensive Tableau/Qlik Sense experience, business intelligence and analytics
- Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills
- Experience using SQL for data preparation and transformation
- Experience in data modeling and schema design
- Sound knowledge and experience in Tableau/Qlik Sense Products
- Understand and transform stakeholder expectations into technical requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enterprise-level experience in data presentation
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Exposure to cloud technologies: AWS
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others to meet tight delivery timelines
- Flexible to work varying shifts as required by project demands
- Ability to foster partnership and effective communication among team members and stakeholders
- Proven ability to drive innovation and creative problem solving
