Join our Payments and Lending Product Experience Technology Finance team for an exciting opportunity to drive key initiatives, provide strategic financial analysis & reporting, oversee and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, and be a trusted advisor to Business leaders.
As a Senior Associate in the Payments and Lending Product Experience Technology Finance team, your role is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities, and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies. You will provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis. In addition, you will assist the department and other team members with special projects or components of other projects as needed.
Job responsibilities
- Manage financial planning for assigned product areas, owning month-end performance and forecast processes and delivering analysis across product financials, consumption/demand planning, budget execution, allocation/billing keys, trends, and exception reporting
- Own, manage and deliver key work streams related to headcount tracking, productivity, business casing, and book of work planning
- Deliver variance analysis and forward-looking insights compared to forecast/budget; articulate drivers, risks, and recommended actions in materials for senior finance and business stakeholders
- Partner with Technology, Product, Design and Data stakeholders to support book-of-work planning, funding decisions, and productivity/efficiency initiatives, translating plans into measurable financial impacts
- Identify and escalate financial and control risks; coordinate with appropriate partners to drive remediation and strengthen controls in line with platform requirements
- Deliver executive-ready ad hoc analysis and presentations on tight timelines when required, ensuring accuracy, clear storyline, and stakeholder alignment
- Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 4+ years of work experience with a Finance, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting or Controller background
- Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda
- Excellent communication, organization and project management skills
- Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
- Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong time management and prioritization skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Specific experience with tooling such as Essbase, Portfolio Intelligence, ThoughtSpot, LLM Suite, and Copilot
