DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: designing and developing single-page applications with component-based architecture; implementing state management, hooks, and context API to create dynamic user interfaces in React; designing and implementing server-side logic using object-oriented programming, LINQ, asynchronous programming, and type-safe development practices in C#; enhancing web application functionality by implementing modern ES6+ features, asynchronous programming patterns, and DOM manipulation techniques using JavaScript. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: building cross-platform web applications and microservices using dependency injection, middleware components, and the MVC pattern; writing SQL syntax and performing updates to stored procedures, queries, and data to support application functionality and maintenance tasks; configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications; supporting team collaboration and project transparency using agile project management tools for sprint planning, backlog management, issue tracking, and reporting; designing and implementing RESTful APIs with authentication, error handling, and documentation to enable seamless system integration; supporting iterative development practices for timely delivery of software; contributing to scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; deploying and configuring applications using cloud services for hosting, storage, serverless computing, and containerization; accelerating coding workflows and improving code quality by leveraging AI-assisted development tools for intelligent code suggestions, automation, and implementation of best practices.
