The Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) serves as a primary client-facing point of contact for asset servicing matters, with a focus on service delivery, query resolution, and operational transparency. You will be accountable for running regular client calls, managing complex operational queries, delivering client reporting, and responding to corporate action–related questions to the agreed KPI’s. Success requires strong custody/asset servicing literacy, disciplined execution, and the ability to translate operational detail into clear client communication.
As an Asset Associate I within Commercial & Investment Bank, you must have a control focused agenda and understand all potential impacts internally and to the client. Your ability to be flexible, follow and meet tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and meet the clients’ expectations, be a self-starter with ability to learn quickly will be key.
Job Responsibilities:
- Client facing role managing relationship with high profile clients.
- Liaising with agent banks and custodians to improve processes and client experience.
- Ensuring 100% responses are received from clients on voluntary events.
- Proactively provide support to internal teams including Risk Management and Client Facing teams across regions. .
- Understanding the control environment and ensuring daily checks are completed
- Working closely with Technology and Operations partners to deliver Change
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Full lifecycle Asset Servicing product & process knowledge
- Ability to face off to very demanding stakeholders and clients, managing their expectations
- Good understanding of Corporate Actions and Income accounting entries
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
- Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience of client facing roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of IM Actions Corporate Actions system preferred.
- Knowledge of digital tools preferred, Alteryx, UI path, and Tableau.
- Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle preferred.
- Knowledge of asset servicing (corporate actions & dividends) is preferred.
