DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Analyze, evaluate and design Data and Analytics products and solutions. Assist with product development in service of solving data centric problems. Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot projects to demonstrate conversion of legacy data into modern data formats to drive data modernization in a Data Mesh paradigm. Provide guidance and consulting to variety of product and data teams with regards to Data Modernization efforts such as legacy data identification, target state design, and modernization best practices. Define strategy and collaborate with cross functional teams to drive data modernization projects and develop execution plans and roadmaps. Help evaluate and validate modernized datasets, track data migration to the cloud and report on the progress. Structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Technology Management, Computer Information Systems, or in a related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions, Application Architect, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: Architecting and building high-performance data pipelines using AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, Glue, and Redshift; Writing Python code to transform and load datasets on the multiple petabyte scale; Designing and building ML features and ML pipelines; Designing and implementing robust data streaming solutions using Kafka to ensure low-latency, high-throughput and fault tolerant event-driven architectures; Open data formats such as JSON-LD, Graphs or RDF triples; Using Data and Analytics concepts including Data Lake, Data Mart, Vocabularies, Ontologies, Linked Data, Data Streaming, and ETL; Utilizing artificial intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to build vocabulary recommendation engines and query generation systems for financial data; and Databricks and data/centric AI principles such as Feature and ML lifecycle.

Full-Time. Salary: $170,000.00-$201,000.00 per year.
