Join our Home Lending Consumer Pricing Finance & Revenue Management team and help support our mortgage product pricing strategy by providing financial and strategic analysis of key business metrics related to Chase Home Lending Consumer Originations.
As a Financial Analyst in the Home Lending Consumer Pricing Finance team you will act as trusted advisors to business and finance leadership and be directly responsible for optimizing performance through pricing and key initiatives, most notably management of our relationship pricing program that partners across our Consumer, Wealth, and Business Banking line of businesses. In this role you will also maintain an exception-based pricing tool used by channel support partners to provide loan-level pricing guidance when third-party competitive offers are presented.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop expertise in the Home Lending business, pricing and revenue management principles, and relationship pricing programs.
Collaborate with key stakeholder groups to analyze strategic initiatives and track/report progress and outcomes.
Establish and monitor performance metrics; deliver recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses.
Conduct margin and volume analysis; present commentary to senior management and explain variances from prior periods.
Prepare presentations and deliver financial analyses on diverse topics to senior management.
Partner with Decision Sciences, Sales Support, Product, and Capital Markets to optimize relationship pricing programs, assess competitiveness, and provide value-added analysis.
Maintain and enhance the exception-based pricing guidance tool used by channel support partners.
Assist in designing streamlined reports and dashboard concepts to improve delivery of financial results.
Identify, escalate, and help mitigate business risks that may impact operations (e.g., fair lending, legal, regulatory, capacity).
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a technical discipline.
2+ years’ experience in financial analysis, business management, accounting, or controllership.
Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; capacity to analyze large datasets and present findings concisely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Creative, critical, and independent thinker; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Able to collaborate effectively across departments and management levels.
Highly motivated self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills; consistently delivers results under pressure.
Preferred:
Experience with Alteryx, Thoughtspot, Tableau, Essbase, and/or Databricks
